Captive Eye

Minimum fuss with maximum security and predictability. Captive Eye connectors, when incorporated into systems, give fixed connections that are almost impossible to misalign in 'real life' use. The circular hole allows the connector to move freely no matter what is stitched or connected to it, and can take a second connector should the need for a rescue point arise. This steel version gives even higher strength reserves over our aluminium version, but with a slight weight penalty. So whatever the application, we have a Captive Eye connector to fit the bill.

Many of our connectors can be supplied cross-drilled to accommodate captive bars. This means that the lanyard or attachment cannot be removed and ensures that the direction of force applied in the event of a fall is along the major axis of the connector, giving maximum strength and holding power. The captive bars themselves are not for load bearing use.

Kwiklock
Kwiklock - Auto-locking gate requiring two separate actions to open. Kwiklock gates are suitable when auto-locking gates are a necessity, but rigging systems are relatively static and anchor points are easy to monitor.
ANSI Kwiklock
ANSI Kwiklock - A very strong auto-locking gate requiring two separate actions to open. Kwiklock gates are suitable when auto-locking gates are a necessity, but rigging systems are relatively static and anchor points are easy to monitor. ANSI
Kwiklock gates rate to a minimum 16kN in minor axis, side loading and gate face loading tests, and conform to ANSI Z359.12 (2009).
Locksafe
Locksafe - An auto-locking gate requiring three separate actions to open. Locksafe gates give extra security in complex rigging systems such as those featuring running ropes or remote anchor points.

Screwgate
Screwgate - Non auto-locking gate which requires two actions to open, and is easy to use with one hand. Screwgates are suitable in systems where anchor points can be easily monitored and are unlikely to be affected by running ropes.
