Treemagineers moved into product development in 2004 because they could see improvements were necessary. With joint objectives of improving safety and efficiency in professional tree care, their first offerings to the tree climbing audience were launched in 2006: the treeMOTION harness and Hitch Climber pulley. Manufactured by strategic partners Teufelberger in Austria and DMM in Wales, these bespoke tree care products incorporate new concepts, advanced manufacturing techniques and high performance materials. Treemagineers continue to contribute to the coordinated tree care product ranges of DMM and Teufelberger within an atmosphere of innovation and safety awareness. In their day to day work, Treemagineers carry out a wide range of tree related jobs, for example, the management of private and municipal tree populations, seed collection from notable trees, foliage sampling for research purposes, specialist courses for tree climbers, native woodland management, design and management of tree planting schemes and the development of industry guidance. They also play an important role in the development and validation of DMM products which seek to make the life of tree climbers safer and more efficient.
